Kyle Lewis finished his first pro season as a champion. The Philadelphia Waterdogs beat the Denver Outlaws 14-4 for the 2026 Premier Lacrosse League title on September 20.

Philadelphia drafted Lewis 29th overall on April 14. He was the only Division II player taken and the first from that level since 2021. At Adelphi he won two national championships, scoring the overtime goal that settled the 2025 title game. In his PLL debut he put away two goals, one a behind-the-back finish against the Boston Cannons.

He scored his first career hat trick in the semifinal that sent the Waterdogs to the title game. Off the field, he is starting a master's degree in health education at Adelphi on an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.

Steele Chambers finished the 2026 UFL season as a champion. The Louisville Kings opened their inaugural year 0-3 and recovered to win the United Bowl, beating the defending champion DC Defenders 27-20 on June 13.

Chambers joined Louisville through the UFL draft in January, after a season with the Memphis Showboats. He began at Ohio State as a running back before moving to linebacker, and finished his college career with 190 tackles, 11.5 for loss, and three interceptions. Detroit signed him as an undrafted free agent in April 2024. New England claimed him that June and released him in August.

His interception in the semifinal at St. Louis ended the Battlehawks' drive in the end zone and sent Louisville to the championship game.
